Not every money goal needs an immediate yes or no. When your budget is tight, choose the move that protects your bigger plan.

A — Delay it

Put a date on the calendar and give yourself time to save, compare prices, or decide whether the goal still matters.

B — Limit it

Set a dollar amount, a frequency, or a number of times you will do it. A boundary turns a vague wish into a budgeted choice.

C — Stop it

Cancel the purchase, pause the subscription, or stop the habit that keeps stealing from the goal that matters more.

D — Direct the difference

Send the money you free up toward debt first, then toward savings and investing. Small decisions compound when you repeat them.

Write down the goal, its cost, and which move you are choosing: delay, limit, or stop. Review it next month and keep chopping your debt while you invest in the future.
